The Holt B&B, Benenden is a comfortable detached house in 2.5 acres of secluded woodland and gardens offering two double and one twin bedroom all with en-suite facilities and free wi-fi.

The Holt Bed and Breakfast, BenendenSet away from the small local road our comfortable bed and breakfast is undisturbed - the only sounds being the distant ringing of the church bells, local birds and the occasional distant puffing of steam trains running in the Tenterden vale.

The local village of Benenden and the woodland walks of Hemsted Forest are less than a 10 minute stroll. The Holt B&B makes a great base to explore the delights of Kentish villages and towns including Sissinghurst (2.5 miles), Cranbrook (3 miles), Smallhythe Place (4 miles), Great Dixter (7 miles), Tenterden (7 miles), Bodiam Castle (10 miles) and Leeds Castle (22 miles).

Benenden is fortunate in having 3 individual country pubs, two of which are an easy walk and all serving a wide range of food and drink together with roaring log fires for the cooler English days.

Benenden Girls School is a ten minute walk away and Benenden Hospital a short drive.

The B&B rooms overlook the private garden either across the fields towards the 15th century church at the head of Benenden Village Green or to the bluebell filled woods.

Two rooms have a King Size double bed and the other two single beds - all rooms are non-smoking.

The house is decorated with fresh flowers and greenery from the garden - do tell us in advance if your are a hay fever sufferer!
Breakfast with home made bread and local produceBreakfast includes local produce, home made bread, and locally produced meats, vegetables, fruits and juices (as available). We are pleased to be able to cater for vegetarians with equal care and attention.

Breakfast is served in the traditional dining room overlooking the gardens.

On fine days there will be a chance to take tea and home made cake on arrival in the garden or, in less clement weather, in the dining room.

Prices
The price is from £75 (90 Euros) to £95 (115 Euros) for a room that accommodates up to two people.

An extra fold-out bed may be added to the twin room (for three people sharing) for an extra £20 (25 Euros)- this is only recommended for very close friends!.
